I love the way my paint strokes are becoming more deliberate and loose. As when I painted my mug the first time, in this second painting, I did not see my facial features as much as I saw the shapes, values, and intensities.
Il n'est pas facile de faire son autoportrait... je le trouve sincèrement magnifique... Il a une âme... et vous je suis certaine que vous y voyez ce que nous nous ne verrons jamais! De belles nuances de couleurs. Gros bisous.
Great portrait - and definitely an impressive development from your first self portrait! I'm also thinking about redoing some of the earlier ones (AFTER I finished the challenge, that is...). Any more to come?
